Day Treatment Program - SACE Osborn is located in Central Phoenix and provides a Day Treatment Program and Social Groups. SACE Osborn’s Day Treatment program provides support to persons 18+ years old who have graduated high school with a diploma or GED. The program operates Monday through Friday from 9:30AM- 3:30PM. Potential attendees cannot be considered an imminent danger to self or others and are committed to active engagement with program expectations. Transportation can be provided through insurance, if needed.
Members gain skills needed to increase independence, including, but not limited to:
- Budgeting and shopping
- Simple Cooking
- Time Management
- Cleaning and Laundry
- Employment and Resume Building
- Communications, Self-Awareness, and Social Skills
Groups provided daily focusing on topics including:
- Self-Awareness
- Impulse Control
- Self Management
- Flexibility
- Internet Safety
- Organization
Social Groups - SACE Osborn’s Social Group program is located in Central Phoenix and provides support to persons 15-25 years old who are looking to for a fun and exciting way to engage with peers and their community. The program offers activities throughout the valley and operates Friday from 9:30AM- 3:30PM and Saturday from 10:00AM- 2:00PM. Potential attendees cannot be considered an imminent danger to self or others and are committed to active engagement with program expectations. Transportation can be provided through insurance, if needed.

transitional housing
Transitional Housing - SACE Highland is located in Central Phoenix and is a triplex that consists of three units. Each unit has a washer and dryer, full kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, gated outdoor area. All three of the units will have primary residents and will live with a roommate. The program utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Support staff and hours of support are determined by needs of each resident in order to assist with their personalized treatment goals. Residents have a personalized treatment plan and data is collected daily on their progress towards meeting their treatment goals.
Residents must be able to:
- Maintain stable income (or actively work toward having stable income through SSI or employment) to purchase personal items and food
- Administer medication independently
- Maintain personal hygiene
- Maintain appropriate medical care
- Maintain a clean and healthy personal and shared environment (indoors and outdoors)
- Shop for and prepare healthy meals
- Manage own personal budget
- Maintain personal laundry
- Access available community services
- Desire to seek and secure employment
- Co-exist and interact appropriately with a roommate and support staff
residential
Residential SACE - SACE Sheridan is an all-male 24-hour residential program. The house is located in Scottsdale, AZ and has five beds (two bedrooms are shared and one bedroom is single), a living room, gaming room, office, full kitchen, laundry room, garage, and a backyard. The program is voluntary and strives to provide a safe and therapeutic environment to a person who is seeking transition to more permanent housing. The program utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and is overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Residents have a personalized treatment plan and data is collected daily on their progress towards meeting their treatment goals. Residents must be able to take their own medication. Residents are supported to increase independence in scheduling medical appointments including: psychiatric, medication, PCP, and dental. Transportation can be provided however independent modes are supported and encouraged when appropriate.
Requirements for Potential Resident:
- Stable income (or actively working toward having stable income through SSI or employment) to purchase personal items and food
- Desire to find and hold employment
- Commitment to actively engage in treatment
- Is not currently DTS/DTO
- Able to co-exist and interact appropriately with a roommate
To receive SACE community living services, the family/member will need to complete an intake at the nearest Southwest Behavioral & Health Services Outpatient location. Once the intake is completed, the assigned clinician will complete an internal referral for SACE community living services.
