By his teens, Valley native Steven Sheets knew kindness would be a focus of his life and what he wanted to be a focus of his career. “I actually went to school to be in the ministry,” says Sheets, who worked toward a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University in the early 2000s. However, during the tail end of his program, he began to realize it was not his path.
